Hey guys, I have never done this before ( or anything electronic for that matter ) and bought some LED's the other day. I need some wire to use to wire all the stuff together but what do I get?

    I found this
page on a local shops website, but I do not know what type to get that would work with LED's.

I don't even know if it is there, I can look around other shops but I would not know what I am looking for. I saw in the guide I am using (SteveyG's guide for connecting LED's) that the wire he uses has only 1 silver wire inside the colour, but I couldn't find one that looked like that on the website.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

It'll work with LEDs, but it's kinda overkill.

You can use 24AWG wire (~.51mm wire for non-US) just fine. You don't have to carry much current to a single LED, as most are around 20mA. I believe the wiring used from PSU to molex connectors is 18 gauge (~1mm), so if you're looking to draw a lot of power, use that.

I do not know what to look for. Is there any on this page I could use?

I want to use the same as in the guide, a black for 0v and red as the other one.
It says on the ones i posted 1A maximum current rating, is this good?

    The first few are perfect.

1A is more than enough for 10 LEDs.

    Just remember the resistor!

this is the size you want - 2.4mm.. thats the diameter of the heatshrink. i found that, thats the smallest size u want... a little bigger might be better it depends on how big you connections are
