About 3 days at present speed. I could stand the heat, noise and expense for that long.

The current number 100, murraydr44, has 21,387,876 points.

It means charging past our New Zealand mate, iCit, at position 106, but he is getting 60k ppd, so it would not be for long.

Well I've had my first dedicated folding rig for 3 weeks now and it hasn't put in a single point under my username so I'm gonna switch, my willpower just won't stretch any further ;)

But as someone else mentioned, I think the main thing to take away from this is that next time around we should sort out the ground rules so that everyone feels good about getting behind the Chimps and we get off to a stormer.

For now though, saspro deserves major kudos for doing a superb job throughout.

I think we've done a great job by completing the Chimp Challenge. It makes me proud to be part of CPChimps.

I was going to turn my GPU's back to my Username this evening, but I will hold off until a decision is made on this topic. Will go with what Saspro decides as he's been a top notch captain.

From what I've read here I say we change back today (1.6 hours to go), we'll take P1 next year.

    Sound fair enough to everyone?

Sounds like a definitive decision to me! Well done everyone, we hang up the ape costumes this evening as the sun sets on our first year in the Chimps Challenge. It's been a pleasure chimping with you guys, and until next years challenge (when we WILL take Inpharm from the number one spot ;)) well done and good luck folding with your own usernames again :)

I suspect the legendary inpharm will not be in the no 1 slot for much longer. Dave_Goodchild is fast approaching and should overtake him in about 2 weeks.

A couple of months ago I was on course to grab pole position but then something happened, I can't remember what :D

It should have been mine, I tell you, mine mine mine :waah:

Once I get back under my own username I'll be launching another assault. Depending on what fun and games we get up to in the interim, the name in the no 1 slot we're trying to trounce next year, might well be mine :duh:

You guys know you did a heck of a great job for being in the race for the first time ! I am REALLY impressed !!
I think maybe next year a bunch of us monkey folders should keep a very close eye on you guy's as while you were rookie's this year, next year you will be seasoned vet's and a major threat to many other teams !!
    Dang great job Guy's and Gal's !!!!:thumb::thumb::hip::hip:

Many thanks indeed for dropping by and your kind sentiments.
Chimping Fever has gripped the team and we look forward to doing battle again in 2010 as rabid CPChimps :naughty:

I'm lost now as there are great reasons to both continue and stop. :wallbash: My feelings at the moment, after a monumental effort of not finishing last, are to continue with the Chimpin flow. It is easy for me as I've already been over taken so I really do not mind either way.

A lot of us have been overtaken including myself by Team mates not in on the Chimping action but they have missed out on a lot of fun. In my mind thats worth the sacrifice I think :cooldude:
