    Laser measure thing

Starting to do property viewings now, so this will be handy. A lot easier than carrying a chunky big tape measure around.

I like it. Bringing the outdoors in. Especially with the crap weather.

My 3070Ti is making the Dan A4 case exceedingly toasty, so I need to do some cooling changes. Fitting the Alpenfohn Black Ridge is first up, but I need LP RAM to do that (I could separate the heatspreaders on the RAM I have... if it weren't for the RGB LEDs - deshrouding them doesn't feel like I good idea). The thermal pads are going to be for my 3070Ti - time to give it a paste & pad replacement, it's long overdue and I've been putting it off for ages. And the CPU will make a nice bump from the 12100F I'm running - I always planned to upgrade this i3, I was aiming for higher than a 12400F but at £115 I couldn't say no.

Just needs a pergola to go over the top and then we're all bringing our cars round your lounge to work on.

The slow beginnings of a midlife crisis - it's actually looking pretty bright, tbh.

I do, Nova Titan, (4x3m, manual crank louvers) we have garden furniture from the same company and have been very pleased with it so amongst the options thought it was a safe buy.

I know someone that got a motorized one (different manufacturer) and it was only motorized for two years, and today it’s a manual crank anyway.

Treated myself to a new jacket, Furygan Speed Mesh Evo, got it for £210 down from £260. Interested to see how it compares to other jackets, never owned Furygan leather always had Dainese, Frank Thomas, RST and Richa gear. I'm not normally all that fussy but I've had more than one jacket I just couldn't get comfortable on the bike with.

Normally just push myself into one of the one pieces but I'm getting to that age where getting the knee down on a roundabout just makes me wince.

    It's been an... expensive... day.

Hearing protection, because I've ruined my hearing enough as it is (I've already got safety glasses - I'm not stupid when it comes to power tools that can happily gouge big holes in my flesh!)

Knee pads, because I've wanted them for working on the bike for a while and I'm already spending loads at Screwfix, so.... f' it - why not

And then it was over to these guys to give them even more of my money... At least there's lots of pretty bikes to ogle while I'm there - and check out that seriously dramatic sky...!

Oxford Quartz XD10 disc lock - I've actually had this a couple of weeks already, but it was from the same dealer so...

Oxford Patriot lock & chain - I didn't want a new chain, the one I had was fine, but the only standalone locks that Thunder Road have are weedier than the one I'd just cut through. This was about the sturdiest thing they had in stock - at least it looks like it'd be a lot more awkward to cut that shackle off.

    Speaking of bike gear...

Very nice :thumb:. I think I've only ever used Furygan gloves, but I've been chuffed with the ones I've had. I've needed some new bike gear for a while, I've been using the same armoured kevlar hoodie for years. It's lasted me well though; with a rain jacket over the top and a couple of layers on underneath, I've been warm enough in even the coldest winter weather.

Definitely with you on the one-piece suits though - I've never been a fan of them...!
