looked at my steam list in the recent sale and thought ` oh dear` since 60% of games i have allready bought havent been downloaded - ever.....
There isn't really any point breaking the nda tweaktown style as their numbers are worthless as they failed to test with current games qnd used old drivers for the ati cards.
Ace! And yes... too true for what Azrael- said. They haven't broken any NDA. The only thing they are doing is putting a manufactures trust on the line. But they've done it before and they'll do it again.
3 x 1080p? no problem. SLI? Denied! Its not possible on our current test system. Now all this gen's big cards are out though, we'll be updating our test games and rigs, as well as getting some SLI and CrossFire numbers tooooooo.
chop chop - go and buy an asrock extreme 6 and an i5 3570 allready *donations of older no longer wanted test rigs accepted, need an upgrade to SB really*
Tweaktown Results I thought the TweakTown results were kind of misleading because it shows the frames per second without anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering which most of us use. They dedicated one page to these settings so I did a comparison of the 660Ti to the 7850, 7870 and 7950 with and without AA and AF to see how big a difference it made. (For some reason, they were having trouble getting certain results for the 7870) The 660Ti seems to suffer more than the AMD cards when you add on the high levels of anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering. AvP and Metro 2033 especially take heavy hits to the frame rates when you add on 4x anti-aliasing. This card, depending on how well it overclocks, seems to trade blows with a 7950. We'll have to wait and see how an overclocked 660Ti will fare against a 7950 at 1.1-1.2 GHz.
So, what time does the NDA lift? I'm running my rig on a backup card and can't game atm - I needz teh review!
Wtf? No bf3? No skyrim? Seriously why do some of these guys use such old games to benchmark :/ I don't want to see a game reviewed where the card is getting 120 odd fps heh.
