Great episode. SIRPC was boring. They should get guests that are at least interested in cars...

It was nice to see that James don't have to play the role as captain slow as much now. He even beat Hammond on the track. (Hammond's spin was pretty fun. He probably thought he was going to hit the barrier.)

 

I thought the episode was really good. A much better step up from the series, in which the highlight was the Tom Cruise interview. This was much more like classic Top Gear, didn't seem too scripted and even

the blatant xmas tree fire was well done.

I actually thought the interview was good and entertaining, and he did a good lap so stop complaining

Looking forward to the Three Wise Men episode

 

Great to see Tiff stepping in to help out his old mate (Clarkson)... good episode all round. The interview with Danny Boyle was a little awkward, and the presents a little forced - but I still enjoyed it anyway.

Good to see them back on the telly and some of the previews for upcoming episodes look awesome - Porsche 959, Ferrari 288 GTO (my favourite car ever!!!).

 

And who else hoped he would? I know I did

 

Me too. Not because of him, but because of the car he was driving

 

Yeah I was pretty sure he would. Also it was lovely to see something that quite clearly isn't scripted (who the hell would have the bawls to get so close to the wall on purpose )

 

I just like to watch expensive cars getting trashed, I like the wee man.

 

Looking on the BBC 2 website, The next Episode of TG, which is the Special on Boxing day is the 1st of Season 16. A further 6 shows to be announced at some point i guess.

The stig in the manger thing was slightly obvious from the second they went into the hut thing, but still fantastic. And WOW. James really got hurt!

Great stuff! Could have been a little better I think, but still a classic none-the-less.

 

awesome, and the unscripted May getting injury was well handled, but with that amount of blood on the ground, i'd have gone home, very well done to him.

 

Oh, it looks awesome! - however, I live in the USA which means I'm probably going to have to wait about a year to see this episode...

Did you know that FOX, the channel that edits TG for the USA cut out all the jokes that Clarkson makes about the USA... And i thought this was a country who always bragged about FREE SPEECH - those sensitive folk at FOX suck.

Hooray! I was just about to hit the bed, but then remembered this special and now instead of getting some sleep I'm getting all snacked up to watch it straight away Mmmmmmmm snacks.
