I don't know what the family would think of it, and bearing in mind you'll all have to clamber into the attic, it isn't a good idea.

 

Don't try and make out it's a ladder trip, you've already told us you have a grand staircase to the loft level So dinner at your place then

 

The whole lot on BF3/BFBC2, especially Murray, Fluidic, Rider, Bagman, Marine, and Fuss.

 

I'd happily share a meal with any of the regulars on this forum (as well as one or two of the more sporadic posters). Is that a cop out?



If I had to choose one person to meet for a laugh then like Tribble and stonedsurd it would have to be thehippoz to see if his real life ramblings made any more sense than his posts. Although I can't escape then nagging thought that he'd probably choose some sort of sausage-based dish for dinner...

Oh, and thanks to those who included me in their lists, you're welcome round for a beer and meal any time you're headed near the central South (probably never then!).

Well, I'm crap at conversation - I just don't know how to talk to people in person. So, my fantasy scenario is a nice casual gathering with a number of bit-tech regulars, in which I could just listen to the conversation, learn as much as possible, and just enjoy the real-time back and forth. I'm decent in the kitchen, so I'll make dessert.

During the day, I'd love to help some of the people build something. What I lack in pure intellect and conversational skill, I more than make up for with my ability to build things.

 

In all seriousness though, if any of you were in my local area for some stupid reason, you'd be more than welcome for a cuppa or a meal.

 

I dont think I would have a meal with any of you, In real life - im well offensive. Rude, short tempered, blunt, tactless, belligerent and obtuse. I don't even know how I got mates, I think they are all under the impression I am joking.

But i would like to meet up with some folk, like Flame, and bobby, most of the people that have posted in here I would have thought as well.

 

In that case, you can still come for dinner, but I'm giving you dog food.

 

I think they might put me on a list If i went to your house - you are like 12 aren't you?

I'd really like to go for a pint with Wuyanxu so we could talk about the BigNG and BF3, The StockBroker so we could talk about living and working in London and Boiled_Elephant because we often have similar views on things, so I figure we'd probably get on.

Oh and all members of the 480 Appreciation society so we can nuzzle up against its beefy heatsinks together.

But yeah seriously, we should at least attempt a big meet at some point. My other half did one with a forum she's on (babyandbump.com for the noisy ones ) and it worked quite well. Though they didn't commandeer a restaurant or anything.
