It turnd out i have a problem with the rpm signal on the Aquero. Have to cut one pin on each connector. Had not much time to work on the build but more tomorrow.
Solved the rpm problem "forgot to cut the pins for the white cable on the power cable". rolleyes.gif Yes i admit "stupid of me". So the power harnes for the fans where good only have i forgot to leave the white wire on 7 fans. I made som adjustments on the mounting of the acrylicplate where the Aquero and Icy-Dock are in. I drill out the 3mm tread because i turnd one tread to pieces. So now i use longer screws and used the flat nut that comes with the Noiseblocker fans. So i had to make som adjustments to the front cover too. I cut out the edges. The bottom fans are running or must i say spinning . Yes it is like a bee's nest. More tommorow.
Finished making and installing the power cables for the fans. All cables are in and i have to think twice what to do next. It all looks better this way without the extra length. So no spagetti. "what you still see colored wires". Yes i know it was ment to be so because i have to bent the cables behind the connectors. This way it is easier. I got a ceramic solder station last month. "want to see it!" yyou have to hurry i just trow it in to the garbage can. It dont work any more. Lucky i got this tools so i can finish the last soldering from the wires to the male connectors. It works fast "when it is heated up you cut the gas and then you finish the soldering of the wires. This is what is left from all the Noiseblocker extension cables. I solderd of the connectors "dont want to trow them away (you never now when you need a few).
To bussy to work on the build today. I mist the email from Coldzero so i had to rush and make the design drawing for my 560 fan grills. Ready and posted. I hope he can make it for me. Tommorow i have to work on the Deskbuild because i got a e-mail that my aluminium parts wil be send next week. (Off Topic) .
A new member arived. Some times you must be lucky to find a card that cheap. I had to buy it. So now i just need a extra block for it from BP. 3 x GTX 690 for the Dragon build. At the moment it is running on air in my spare system "for testing" . And i took out the 2 EVGA 580's. The coolingblock for my new member arived with all the stuf for my deskbuild from my sponsor. Like the two other cards i need to modificate this block because i want a flat and sharp surface. 20 holes tapping 3 times M4. I put in M4 x 16 but i orderd shorter ones 13 mm "the fit better". New Stainless steel screws countersink ones flat headed. Countersinking avery hole until it looks good. Fitting the screw. (i change them later for M4 x 14) . After 3,5 hours the job is finished. Ill be back
The WB with new flat-head screws looks really good. Did you paint the head's screws ? They seems darker ...
My mind is spinning " i miss a few pictures in my buildlog". After switching to my other buildlog i found them. All the paintwork i do it the back. For parts where you dont putting pressure on i use a quick drying coating and top coat. Within 30 minutes i gave the motherboard tray 4 new layers. In the same evening i can take the tray inside for mounting the two different colored acryl panel to it again. The UV-red and the clear acrylic panels are mounted under the tray. I want to put a few led behind the tray from the back. A few weeks ago i got my custom designed fangards and dustfilters. The are special custom made for me and are longer then my 560 radiators. At the moment i am building at my desk "so this baby must wait a little longer" . But i am back verry soon.
Awesome build man, but will your motherboard handle the 3x690? It's basically like 6xsli connection for the processor... Just wondering, not judgment here
Ha ha "Asus will handle it" . just joking but i have seen 4 way 690 GTX before. So i guess it will work. And about the wundering "includes me too" whe have to wait and see. Got enough rigs to put one in. And feel free fo comment, thoughts and what you think about it.
Looking good as always Henry! Have you always been posting here on BT? For some reason, I completely missed that!
Hi Bart, No i got a account in januari and signed up. Had first to store all my pictures some where to upload them to BT. So i am the FNG on BT. At the moment i have a few buildlogs here: - Deskbuild "Lost"; - Black Dragon; Hill 7.9 Ahum yes dont know if i post that one (1782 pictures) . But the TH-10 is appart from the two pedestels complete intact and will be rebuild with most of the former parts. I dont know if i already posted it the name wil be "Resurection". But i dont think you mist it because i posted the buildlogs complete in the fase there in in just a few days. Glad your on board for som comment.
Just back from short vacation and found out that my buildlog is moved. I can not find it in the normal tab "buildlogs".
