Other Gentlemen, its time to mod your face for Movember! Post your lip fuzz!

Whilst the fundraising aspect is important, I find that the communication aspect is more important, starting a conversation with people about the reasons that you are doing. My view is that if you can make a change to just one person then it is worth doing. I appreciate that money is tight for people hence why I'm not plastering my posts with a donate here link. Although I considered it, starting people talking is far more important in my opinion.

Myself and my brother are partaking for the 3rd year in a row. Granted, we both can't grow moustaches so we end up looking rather sketchy. We didn't raise much last year (I think $120 total) but its better then nothing, and just raising the awareness helps. It's progressively getting more popular each year though, with a lot of celebrities and athletes taking part, and I've even seen a few commercials on tv this year!

We just made our own team, the last 2 years we also had a few of my brothers friends but this year it's just us 2. Our team name is "I has a moustache"

 

I have 3 day's worth of stubble.. nothing to do with Movember though... just can't be arsed shaving.

 

Right, 4 days in and I'm starting to get used to shaving. My chin is bald. My lip is not so much. My face is itchy since I'm not used to shaving

Day 5 now, rocking the horseshoe outline already !

 

Need to clean up the rest of my face again already. It grows like wildfire.

Bloody hell man, 5 days in and you've got more face fuzz than I've ever had!

 

Remember I left the upper lip (not this long, but close) because I have a lot of facial damage from when they took all my teeth. But, I had to shave twice, three times a day if I wanted to be clean shaven. I don't shave any more, except for this. It gets out of control rather quickly.

 

Right up until the door bell rings and the neck piece leaves your neck in pieces.
