    Thank you j-a-c-o-b!

We'll also paint the Noctua fan to match the color scheme! Looking forward for it later this day... :)

    Hi guys...

Today we managed to make openings for the bracket, paint it, paint the rest of the arrows (6 in total) because last time the paint finished.
And for finale to see how it all looks as a "structure". You'll judge for yourselves, but for the most part it requires only a little more support at the PSU area. We're considering the idea of making 2 more stands, very simple, but they would give it the rigidity we need. Kinda working in a rush, don't know why...I think the more you are pressed with time and deadlines, the more you manage to think "creatively".

It all stands by itself, but needs a gentle push and begins to fall to one side. As I said, we'll fix it in the upcoming days. Also we removed the leather handles...for changing the design a little bit, and we're not quite sure if we are to mount or go without them.

Stay tuned for more updates guys...hope you like the result for now....:)

Hi guys...some more work is done for today.

    - New arrows - painted and placed on the shield. 2 of them will act as a support for the whole system
    - The PSU bracket is screwed to the shield and the bolts are covered in the front

I forgot to take a picture of the shield with black arrows...will do it next time.

What we have to do for this to be finished:

    - Paint the Noctua fans
    - Figure out a way of arranging the cables - 8 pin, 24 pin (We will be using some mSATA SSD, details - next time)
    - Fix the PSU and glue the supporting arrows
    - Apply fresh paint to the shield

I think that's it for now...wish us luck and stay tuned for more (final) updates ;)

Hello guys, another update is ready.

We decided to buy two more arrows, due to the lack of enough "damage" to the shield in our opinion. We made the holes for them already. Also I tried if the shield is any close to authentic...We applied the final layers of paint to all components, and of course the Noctua fan. I can say it looks very nice, although I wish to paint the frame in black, because now it just doesn't have that sharp contrast between colors and the gold kinda fades away, but this is not a problem.
Next time we'll attach the arrows, assemble the machine and hopefully install an OS. Still there are some minor details to be considered, but thy are not such a pain in the... :D

A piece that'd be mounted on the MB over the bottom PCI slot.

I really love the black/golden colour scheme and the quality of the paint.

The golden plate with the mod name is awesome.

    Thanks man! :)

D-day came! |Everything assembled, cleaned and booted in windows. We kept fingers crossed, and that's it guys. Intel's HD 3000 is the only "slow" thingy in the Aegis PC, but the idea is more important than the actual performance. We're quite amazed by the mSATA score...really good!

I'll show you the photos and next time expect some benchmarking and stress tests.

The Noctua fan would go through a revision due to some paint issues...really hard to paint it the way it looks and it is not even close to perfect, but looks okay.
