Welcome aboard, and if you need any guidance with setting anything up ask for it in the forum. There's no shortage of knowledgeable folders on our team who will be happy to help you if you're having problems!

    Motoko statistics

The page above shows Motoko folding at a steady pace. Welcome aboard.

Edit: He did 3 work units and quit. Thanks for those 3, Motoko.

    Hi,

I used to contribute to the old folding team before we joined up with Custom PC and I've recently started folding again for the new team. However, I've found that despite using my old user name, my old points haven't transfered over to the new team and I've started from scratch again. Is this normal or have I done something wrong?

    Cheers.

Argh, sorry about the double post, Chrome has gone mental today. It won't even let me edit my posts. :duh:

If you folded for bit-tech then your points won't move as that team is effectively dead.
The customPC team changed it's name to include bit-tech so you'd have to start from scratch.

    Welcome to the team.

    Welcome to the fold.
The magazine uses your folding name, which shows up in the milestone charts. Should you wish to brag about your progress use the 'Trumpet Blowing' thread in the forum. If you are chosen for Folder of the Month and you can't be easily found on the forums, there will be a small paragraph asking you to contact the magazine.

Have decided to start folding on my work machine. Newb question, but will it still do the work if I lock it overnight?

Just my secondary Rig at the moment (8800 GTX and 6700 @3.3Ghz) but it tends to be on all day. Will add my Gaming rig when I can.

Sorry, I missed your first post - if its a Linux machine it will definitely keep folding, but if it's a Windows machine I'm not sure.
