Cheers Tel. Unusually for me I am flying along . The only tit is the one with the spell checker and doesn't use it. :D

The tubing just arrived. I ordered it about midnight 2 days ago. So well done kustom PC's. I love that shop.

If I can stick this in your thread Jeff as you have actually made a backplate?

    This is the original.

With a removable part and I have no idea what purpose that serves.

I might use a bit of clear acrylic to practice on. I have suitable blades to cut this material but I am not sure about the cut out areas for the SLI connections how do I cut that out of acrylic. And taking the edges off what would you use?

Something like that, I would use a jig saw with a fine blade. Then a smooth file to get rid of the roughness. Then finish it off with some wet and dry to give it a nice finish.

Redone the GPU so it's the right color and fitted all the tubing and added some juice.

I need to sort out the lighting. The light coming off the fans isn't powerful enough.

A few more bits to do and I can fire this thing up.

    All fits nicely..

    Need to sort this out..

The only way to fill it up as it's all so tight in there was to bring the fillport out of the top.

That's it for now. Thanks for looking.

Cheers dude. That was the aim in such a small case.

It's pretty much in perfect condition.. Well it was till I got my hands on it.

Arghhhhhhh !!!!!!.. It's in bits again. I was getting nothing out of the mobo when I fired it up, so checked everything and still noting.. As a last resort I swapped the CPU..

Turns out I was right, it's not Bulldozer compatible. Probably needs a bios update. Arghhhhhh !!:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

All is not lost though, I have another mobo I can put in that is Bulldozer compatible.

    Sooooo. Lets start again :duh:

These things are sent to try us.

On my backplate project decided after a complete abomination of an attempt to cut one myself to go for the local company option. Cost 12 quid but I think probably cheaper in the long run as I would need to buy the acrylic, cut it, drill it, buy Plasti Dip for the logo and I doubt I would get it right the first (or second/third ETC) time anyway.

That does make sense. let some one else get it wrong. 12 quid is cheaper than buying a ready made one.

I was flying along with this build. But as with most of my builds a disaster strikes at some point.

I think I might change the loop slightly is was a nightmare to. I need to find a way to get the fill port direct in to the res.

Never delved into the dark arts of water cooling. Promised myself one day that I will as it can really bring some bling to a build. And I do so love a bit of bling.

As you say it looks good and it's good at what it does, but a real pain if you need to something.

As per this morning and me having to strip the build down:duh:

I now have a totally empty case sat in front of me once again.

The irony is, the is the mobo I am using this time is the one I was going to use originally.

Look at the bright side Jeff: when it goes back together, it will probably look better than it did before. Sometimes during forced tear-downs, you realize you could have done something a bit better / neater / cleaner / etc.

You're actually dead right. After a lot of swearing and cursing, it all went back in with the other mobo. Because this one is smaller I had a good look at the loop and completely changed it. I liked it before, but I have to say I like it a hell of a lot more the way it is now.:dremel::D
