So we have gone in for a total strip down and rebuild. Starting with a new mobo that was for another build but it now is going to live in this one.

While it was in bits I had a look at the loop , which was quite tight in places and ended up changing it.
I think it now looks much cleaner and tidier and I have a feeling it will be more efficient. Plus because of the 3/4 tubing it gives it a nice chunky look.

The fill port has been moved on to the res and runs direct out of the top of the case.

    A bit tidier I think.

The return from the GPU now runs straight back to the res.

That's it for now, not to far off finishing now. Just lighting and the front to be sorted and a million wires which will take for ever to sort out.

    Thanks for looking guys.

Decided to have a little play around with some UV juice. I used the Meyhams blue to start with an d got the colour I wanted, then added some of the clear UV . Gives a nice effect.

It needs much stronger lighting. That was done with a couple of single LEDs. I will be fitting one on the block and another on the res.

That is a cramped build. Looks great, love your solution to the GUP tube routing.

Thanks a lot Dr. I'm just glad I got my measurements right. Everything fits just as it should and the 2nd version of the loop is definitely the right one.

Believe it or not, there's actually more space in there than it looks in the pics. You can get a couple of cigarette papers in there with ease. :D

Love the improvements Jeff, that looks SO much better! I can't see how you could optimize the tubing any better than that!

Thanks Tel. It's getting done pretty quick despite a small set back. Not much left to do now.

    Thanks a lot .:D
I have to agree with you on that one. It's nice and tight to the mobo, so doesn't get in the way of anything. Same as the one on the rad side. I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out.

It was meant to have 4, then I started on the wiring and had loose one .

May have to think about shortening the leads.

So you'll be starting the next one soon then.

Bought a small vacuum bed for the CNC and picked up a $700 pump for £120 for it, I'll be building a big vacuum bed soon too

You've gone nuts on that thing, must be worth a small fortune now.:D

The next one will be following very close behind this one.

Maybe doing Dylan one as well. He's had an Idea for a TT mozart and I would love to do another one of those.

I hate wires but I have managed to get it all in. In case anyone wonders why I have used an extension on the 24 pin, it's because doing it that way I can tuck everything away and keep it all flat to make getting the side panel back on easier.

I have given it a quick shake down and I have to say I am impressed with the temps, didn't expect them to be so low in something this small. Especially given the warm

I have put a pic of my main rig next to this one for a size comparison. It dwarfs it.

Only a few more things left to so and this one will be finished and I will be starting on the next couple of builds..

Just a minor update. Although not finished it's up and running, got a nice 20% over clock on the GPU, 925Mhz on the core and 2052 Mhz on the memory, it's not as cool as I had hoped for but all under control. The CPU is at a nice 4.3 and running at 40 degrees flat out on Prime 95. Thats with the fans running at the slowest speed possible. In a nut shell this thing is pretty much silent. So thats one of the main objectives achieved.

Am I please.. Of course I am. A hex core media player with a bit of mild gaming grunt.. that will do for me :D:D

Been modding the front panel. Got the plexi in and mirrored it and wrapped it.

Thats pretty much the case finished now, just a few wires to braid and tuck away.

If the edges look a bit fuzzy in the first few pics, thats because the protective plastic is still on.
