I have to admit I wasn't to sure about this build when I first spotted it, but curiosity has had me coming back to have a look every couple of days..

And well what can I say, It is feckin turning out to be brilliant. It' so neat and tidy and clean looking I'm actually stuck for words.

I am really looking forward to seeing the finished article now.

    incredible to look at.

It looks to be really well put together, and the detail certainly shows where the time spent designing it went. The front radiator mounting looks brilliant. Any special plans for feet on the case ?

I think the white on the fans is too glossy though, it doesn't seem to allow them to match the case.

Have you got it up and running yet ?

Ah thank you. The plan for this build like our cases in general is to show off the w/c gear and hardware more so than the actual case itself. Hopefully this will do a job even with SO much cooling in a tight space :D

Thanks again for the kind words!

    Cheers very much!

Thanks Shrop. Unsure on the feet yet, we are tight for time so I think I will use the standard ones for now & make something a little more special at a later point. I will of course post the updates here.

mmm I also thought this, I found some matt white fans I prefer but couldn't source matching 80mm. I've tested these In lower light and the white LEDs do suit the build real well.

    21 March Update

    Hey all! Back again!

Sorry for the delays; we focused more on the build but taking photos as we go of course. Log had to take the back foot for a little while.

So first up some more products from Alphacool. The massive 360mm is for another LAN rig don't worry haha. Not going to try get this to fit! I'm sure the d5's are MORE than overkill but I like to reuse and expect to use them in an SR-2 rig for summer:

    And some Phobya goodies:

Next up today we start putting some more fittings into the top chamber to connect up the CPU. The loop here is very strange. The aim was to only use straight tubing in all visible spots:

We then recut the Alphacool. It just had to be done to look good:

Playing around with the top chamber connectors and the loop:

More pass through connections. These actually send the loop to the back of the case by going under the front fans. They then connect up to the pump & res in the back:

A few final shots for the update, sorry it was short:

See you again tomorrow (and iSeries if you are there)!

I like the copper on top of those rads! Breaks it all up nicely :D
Also I really like what you did with the tubing! Keep it up!

Just caught a glimpse of this as I was ordering some pizza. It was unmanned, but it looks just as awesome in real life as it does in the photos!

    Thanks man!

More will follow soon! I did a quick build finish to take the rig to iSeries but have a lot of tweaking I would like to do so it will be rebuilt with more photos to come!

Thanks, had to change them ever so slightly as they just clipped the GPU bridge. Update soon!

In fact, looking at some of the other mods on this case as well, I am seriously tempted to get one of these myself. I have a few ideas for it :) I just spent a heap on my current rig though, so need to wait for the waves to settle with the Mrs first of course.
