I couldn't resist. I took a sneak peak on the eVGA forums, looking really nice.

Nice assembly pictures. Youve done a nice job at the Alienware Tower.

I´m looking forward what you will do with the X2000. I got myself the smaller brother (X500) simply caused by the the fact that theres not enough space under my desk for the X2000 ^^.

Hes been a great customer. I will keep ya'll updated when I am

They said "No, because it's not for US market"..ABS has exclusivity to the design for their Canyon 695. Lian Li is sending me their new xbox 360 enclosure instead. Hopefully it will lead to more opportunities.

Given the economics of a $600 case, I would say the market would be slim. Whereas there are a TON of xbox360s in the wild. Heck theres 3 of them in my household of various configurations. I would like to see the xbox recase build.

I'm installing a window for somebody else, so I can show you what I was refering to. You're truely limited to the window design you can make without compromising how the shell attaches to the alum panel. After cutting the window in the Alienware's shell (show here), you need to cut another in the alum panel.

You've gotta wonder why Alieware doesn't offer windows? Thats fine with me tho, I could really use the money installing them for people :dremel:

Instead of drawing your window out on the outside, Ive done mine on the inside, heres why, you wanna clear several mounting tabs, you don't want your side panel to be floppy! So, I found this window design to be ideal. It flows with the overall theme while residing within the plastic tabs and structual support beams.

You want to keep plenty of clearance between the mounting tabs on the outter perimeter of the panel, but you also don't want the window too big, where you've completely removed the support beams (arrows) for the shell
    [IMG]

In order to allow the plexi window to sit flush, I trimmed these plastic tabs (support beams)
back from the viewing area .5"

Thats what I wanted to post with the previous project, but never got around to it.

    Thank you HeXen! :)

Another Alienware ALX window is finished. This one didn't get painted, so extra care was taken into account why cutting it.

The thing at the very top is part of the Koolance water cooling kit which is designed to fit at the top of the case. It displays the temp.
