More of a resolution thing. They're fine for me but when I'm on Bit with my 1024x768 craptop I don't like pics over 800x600

Anyways, really great work there! VERY interesting design :jawdrop:

    MAJOR UPDATE!

    :: MAJOR UPDATE ::

Today I've got the oppurtunity to work all day on the case, so I've got some fresh pictures ready for you!

    HERE THEY ARE...

This will be the bottom plate of the casemod...
    [IMG][/IMG]

These are the cylinders (from inox) which go into each corner between the two cone-shaped blocks (there will be 5 of them in each corner, as will be clear on another picture)...
    [IMG][/IMG]

The mill working out to get a cone shaped...
    [IMG][/IMG]

Yet another picture of the same block, but in an earlier stage...
    [IMG][/IMG]

Three shiny top cones already completed (still one to go and then the foot cones)...
    [IMG][/IMG]

Foot and top cones put in a sawed inox tube (also notice the 5 drill holes for the 5 inox cylinders to fit in)...
    [IMG][/IMG]

    Cone finally taking shape...
    [IMG][/IMG]

    The finishing touch...
    [IMG][/IMG]

The raw structures of the front of the casemod...
    [IMG][/IMG]

Front of casemod in a basic set-up...
    [IMG][/IMG]

Another shot of the basic setup of the front...
    [IMG][/IMG]

    And yet another one...
    [IMG][/IMG]

So, this will be it for today.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed doing all this stuff today.
More will folow as soon as possible! :dremel:

    greetz,
    Dries

So there will be a next update very very soon...
IF I have some sparetime because I still need some other "urgent" things to get done (school etc.)

    Hell yeah!!

What exactly is INOX? I know aluminium, and I've seen the word inox used before, but right now I can't place it...

Inox is a stainless alloy of some various kinds of metal: it has f.i. some iron in it (but very few obviously, because it is stainless). It is also very hard and weighs more than moderate (a lot actually :D ). But it is easier to handle (in terms of welding) than f.i. aluminium.
