News Intel launches "Tigerton" Xeon CPUs

    I know Tigerton is a town, and that's what Intel names their processors after, but every time I see that name I think "Tigertron" from Transformers.

    mmm, sortof. He wasn't really the same, but I guess I'll give it to ya.:p

    Anyway, as not to stray off topic too much... What changed in Tigerton? Is this a 65nm part or something? How did they improve performance so much?
