as for the 2nd and 3rd pics,it does look powerful, but kind of too messy...

Whoa this Mainboard is nice, but you should definitly use Watercooling. If you use these air coolers, no one can see the board due their size. But somehow the first air cooling pic (with the Zalmans) doesnt look so bad either.

Why buy a 4x4 system if you can have the same, or even better, performance with a smaller, cheaper, loaded board for a single package quad?

Great work so far, just watch out where you're thinking about putting your money at :)

CK, that motherboard only supports AMD processors, which are slower clock for clock and draw more power. Not to mention they have no quad cores, so you could only have 4 cores Anyway until Barcelona hits.

Thanks for the kind explanation to ComputerKing. As Guiter said, 4x4 platforms is limited to a double Fx-74 configuration, or, in other terms, two double core processors. Both will draw more power than a single QX, with less performance... As for the sli configuration, sata capabilities... there are quite a few motherboards for Intel that costs half, or even less, than the board he's thinking of using in this 4x4 platform...

    Performance wise, get an Intel.

Ditto; a lot less hassle/expense to go with a 680i/Q6600 setup.

I like the Zalman 9700 NT's fans on it. Not to worry about over kill profomance as im not really a full on hard core gamer. lol but to like gameing and do play games more into editing and that. Thinking about this borad to as its differant as its dual cpu and can do dual gpu. plus it can be over clock a little.

Link to the forum im reading.

Honestly man, its all well and good to be different, but is it really worth that much to you, to make you spend HUNDREDS more, on a system that won't perform anywhere near as well as its cheaper to buy, cheaper to run, cooler to run, and better supported competitor?

Come on man. Do the smart thing and go intel.
