ther is a saying around windsurfing competitors "show me your hands and i will say how good are you"

The good days when i was a competitor went away, but i've got hard skin on ma hands till now after blisters that were deep to the bloody meat ... but as you can see show me your hands works with sanding but in smaller scale

I ve got an idea ...
what are going to do with those deeper lines on the whole cube? what about filling them with black paint ;>
or .. more crazy polish only them

 

no....i use the CNC to make the deep line....

at the beginning ...i can't get the CNC...i decide to do all the work by hand ...i use my hand to incise the alu board...and ...i make the first side board... i give up the idea of by hand to do the work

some sentense i can't understand for my poor english...i base my understanding to answer you ... good luck to myself....

 

we all missunderstood i know that but the black line could make it to look deeper I know that you made it with CNC, i was looking from the beginning... My english is also at very low level

 

i'm sorry to that.... now i maybe really understand your words....thx you advice....now i brush the case surface...if i use the black line to fill the ....flute...i think it will affect the aluminum feeling...and the paint will easy flake off the alu board....

ps:sorry so long to answer ...for i must to look up the dictionary online when i type the reply

 

don't worry Hotton, many of us here have not perfect english even people from USA have in their signatures "sorry for my bad english, i'm from US" heheh that's nice joke from their side ... you don't have to replly fast.

I love your aluminum work. All the hours you put into it, is certainly paying off.

 

Holy crap, I just read the entire worklog and this is some amazing case! Great CNC work and the internal arrangment is very inteligent. Looking forward to see the end result.

i make the linker by alu bar....you can buy the alu bar and cut it off to some sections and the size you want to ...
