w00t! Postie left my SE in the garage for me so I didn't have to bimble down to the office. Had a quick play last night for a couple of hours, liking what I’ve see so far (on PS3). Not far enough in or nailed the controls yet to make any sweeping statements on the game play. I agree with the radio comments, but need more in-car time to give it a good listen. I brought the Brady guide too, never done it before as “google images is your friend” but my printer burnt out last month (as much as I’d like to scour the city for 200 flying rats…). I was just after the weapons/1st aid/armour/flying rats/jumps maps but it had a load of other handy info (only flicked through) on random characters that can help but aren’t marked and how to do dates (I was rubbish on dates in SA). I won’t spoiler owt, but I’ll pm if anyone is desperate. Couldn’t join multiplayer either? Got my mob out a selected it but it said it couldn’t connect (great touch) do you have to get passed a certain point? There doesn’t seem to be any two player stuff either? My GF loved it in SA where we’d go on a rampage together! Oh yeah, no rampages either??
What's the deal with the autosave? I haven't risked it yet, always go back to my house to save like previous games. Does the auto save work properly when you finish a mission?
Yea it works fine. I have used it between multiplayer matches (when they work) and I come back to where I finished.

Loving the single player missions, sure im not as ahead as some of you guys but im more tha enjoying it. I'd be up for multi player tonite as i havent played any yet.
Spoiler Same here. That was so awesome, I really didn't like Manny haha Can't get enough of the game at the moment. Also, I think the idea of calling an automated service with Lazlow to ID the song playing in the background is awesome

So far that game is a 10 for me. The huge difference between GTA IV and San Andreas in nearly all aspects to me is the right way that you transform a game when moving to platforms with stronger hardware. Everything just feels larger to me, and the vehicles feel more like cars when you drive them and less like Hotwheels. Anyone with the PS3 version satisfied with the optional tilt controls on some of the vehicles? I was suprised to see the tilt used in a functional way instead of just a tacked on "check this out" deal.
multi player is brilliant for a tour of the city if you justt want to get your bearings etc select free mode drive to the airport and get a chopper and fly around. i find it hard to shoot ground targets with the helicopter tho need more practice. Team deathmatch has be my fav, brilliant when they keep together and control the strets. btw lets get online xbox 360 live nametag - prankster_ni
Controlling a helicopter using sixaxis in the tutorial takes some getting used to! I drove down a runway thinking, 'cool, a runway', then 'wow, planes and stuff!', then 'oooh bugger, police'.
