Oh, right. Took me about fourteen reads through before that clicked all the way. Coffee was a bit weak this morning.

Mate kindly offered to drive me and my stuff home from uni if I paid for petrol, so I did.

Did pretty well though, 280 miles, just over half a tank of diesel used.

Ordered some new forks, Magura Menja 130mm, after a particularly good ride last weekend. At last my poor bike (actually my poor legs) have been asking for dynamic lockout for years :)

The old one actually - I actually kinda prefer the styling of it.

Yeah me too, although I'd prefer it to be the same size as the new ones.

Ordered my new Mini Cooper this evening. Put money down and the order goes to the factory tomorrow morning. As follows:

Oxygen Blue Body Color with Black Roof/Mirrors

    Premium Package
    10-Speaker. Hi-Fi Sound System
    Automatic AC
    Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof
    Cold Weather Package
    Heated Front Seats
Heated Powerfold Mirrors & Washer Jets

    1.6L 16-valve overhead cam alloy engine (118hp)
    6-Speed Auto w/Agitronic Mode
15" 5-Star Spooler (Perfomance) with All Season Tires
    Dynamic Stability Control

Cloth: Checkered Carbon Black/Black Sport Seats
    Interior Surface Fine White Silver
    3-Spoke Leather Sport Wheel
    On-Board Computer (Standard)

Would have preferred to go with the manual transmission, but with my arthritis and knee surgeries later this year, figured the automatic would be better. At least it has the option of shifting if I want to! So about two months from now the old BMW 330i is getting traded in. Not much use for a sedan with the daughter on her own, even though I love the car. I'd get a vintage Cooper S if I were still working on cars and had a non-shared garage to work in. This should do nicely, however.

Nice Scirocco. I've had half an eye on the Minis for years now, let me know how you like it and post pics!
