http://www.peta.org/cooking-mama/index.asp?c=pcmgb08 Was wondering if any of you had seen/played this yet. Honestly, it makes me sick how they blatantly infringe upon copyrights like this! The game Cooking Mama is loved by many, and here PETA comes along, takes the game, and makes it into a tofu-loving, hippie fest, complete with bloody tree-humpers! I honestly hope Ingrid Newkirk gets a swift kick, as I am getting mighty tired of these, and other, publicly funded, internationally renowned, eco-terrorist organizations and their amazingly UN-ethical, lying, deceitful, obnoxious ways. By the way, it's a fun game though, I really liked taking the head off the turkey! Really felt like I was there! I could almost taste the blood! Yumm.
IANAL, but from what I saw technically it's not copyright infringement, as satire qualifies as fair use.
Did you see the little embryo falling to the floor at the same time? I know that when I crack eggs, I ALWAYS eat the embryo first! Stem-cells for the win!
The makers of Cooking Mama have actually come out and said "thanks for the free publicity", so they're quite happy about it.
OK I will leave the turkey alone... I'll go down the garden and get a chicken instead. It not that rare to see and not much of a big problem (unlike what I was taught at school).
I want to eat better, feel better, and support cruelty to chickens, pigs, cows, fish, and other animals raised for food. By signing my name, I pledge to explore despise vegetarianism for at least 30 days. Played through the whole thing, absolutely brilliant.
They really don't know how to make a good roast turkey dinner. Also, you know what, mashing the tofu really made me feel sorry for the poor little wild tofu, getting all mashed up and destroyed like that, someone should to something about it.
