Honestly, that is a tiny amount of tabs. I usually have around 70 open, but I lost my session when I updated FF. I have one 17" CRT and 19" TFT.

openSUSE is turning out well so far, I only installed it to dual boot with Gentoo; I got tired of explaining to people why my computer “looks like that”. I did have Ubuntu on it briefly but, IMO, openSUSE beats it in the Just Works™ department. And KDE4 is so much better than GNOME, and Kubuntu is just a whole heap of fail.

To update this thread with my new desktop, or to not update this thread with my new desktop? That is the question!

It's actually a nice little application called My Mobile (used to be My Mobiler, but I think they changed the name). Unfortunately, I can't get to the site anymore, but I think you could still hunt it down on the 'net.

Edit: I've managed to find the installer for it, so drop me a PM, I'll mail it to you :)

Did you make that? Made me LOL because I used the same tutorial to make the top banner for my band's myspace.

Yes I made it.. in about 4 minutes while waiting for a phonecall. You don't need a tutorial for something like this... it's child's play. I didn't even use PS to do the logo and wires - did them in illustrator because I used live trace on the .psd of the bit logo to vectorise it so I could scale without degrading it.. whilst I was in there I made the swoosh with a simple bezier curve. Loaded them into PS and just applied outer glow on the layers. The background is simply a big fat pattern brush. Once in PS it was probably no more than 10 mouse clicks.

That tutorial is bloaty as hell... I could get the same result with a quarter of the work.

I like your work. Could you do a tutorial for us? I can see many things that could use your touch.
