Have you considered posting in the Marketplace forum? I bet someone in the UK could get you an old standard R9600 cooler, as people often replace the standard cooler with something better.

I posted a message in the UK marketplace forum on your behalf. Perhaps something will turn up. Hope, I didn't break any forum laws...
Best bet... go around to your local computer shop and ask if they have any old* PCs lying around that need geting rid off, I'm sure they'll have a heatsink and/or fan you can steal *Pentium 3/Socket 478, might have an old GFX card in there as well that you can add to the stockpile
Anything come up yet? Recieved my LAN and usb 2.0 card yesterday :d And i need the fan on the graphic card draggin hot air out.
I meant for you to go around and ask in the shops I live in Yorkshire, if you can find anyone to give you something for free here, it's a scam or an advertisement
I've been to one but it's a grumpy old guy lol I have a 80mm case fan that i've had for a bit i know i cant use it on the GPU but i cant see any arrows on it and i don't understand how i can pull hot air, it only seems to blow cold to me. ??
Reverse mount it, then it'll pull hot Make it so that the air is going away from the card (and just use bulldog clips for now, they'll do til you get a proper cooler/GFX card)
Oh, so i just put it on so its blowing cold air away from the card, therefor when it heats up it will blow the hot away. That really works lol?
Simple physics, a fan does BOTH draw and blow air. At the same time. Doesn't matter what temperature it is. But I'd still suggest putting it the way that it blows ONTO the GPU... Every stock cooler I've seen is like that.
Hiya dude! - I definately have a 9800 pro cooler lying around at home, and I'm pretty sure that'll fit your 9600 pro. (If not, an old P3 heatsink should do the trick with a bit of !) Will let you know when I get home boxing day..... Can cover postage - shouldnt be much, or could drop it over if you're anywhere near Littlehampton, West Sussex....? Merry Xmas!
MR BUNGLE That'd be great and make my christmas :d Sorry, i don't live near west sussex is there anyway i can give you my address through private message or msn i don't really wont to post it here. Thanks, Mark
