Back when I could smell, it was coffee when you first open the can, fresh mowed lawns, the litter of kittens we had, nitromethane at the drag races.

The corticosteroids I do to stay alive have dampened my smell to near nonexistence and my taste to nothing milder than Tabasco sauce.

    A clean Beach
    Fresh coffee beans
    Hot coffee
    Mint
    Cooked meat
about half of the stuff listed in the thread.

It's amazing how little can be tasted when you loose the sense of smell, as in many things cannot be tasted at all, and some can be barely tasted, in my research anyway.

Chocolate is one that can be tasted a little, but it's hard to tell the difference between white, brown/milk, and dark! Ice cream can be tasted a little, but almost all of them taste like vanilla, sort of! Wanna taste garlic a little? Eat a whole raw segment of a clover. Wanna smell coffee, a tiny little bit? Open a fresh bag of roasted coffee beans, stick your nose in the bag, and breathe deeply :eeek:

    Petrol
    WD40
    Rubber ( I actually have a rubber perfume :D )
J&J Baby Oil (no other smells quite the same)
    Parma Violets
    Cocoa Butter
I miss the smell of my cat's fur, she smelled like biscuits
    Ylang Ylang
    Neroli
    Beeswax
    Honeysuckle
Stir-Fry Oil (oil with chilli, garlic & ginger)
Lush's Soft Coeur (that smell does funny things to me)

Smells that I hate so much they make me feel physically ill:

    Bacon
    Coffee

There, now for the rants about me being a freak ;)

Ooh yeah I like that too, it has that sort of medicinal smell about it, like surgical spirit.

Not sure if it's the same stuff they use on RC cars, but i have to agree on this one. (I guess it is, except for oil content) It smells awesome. (Unless it's in a confined space with poor ventilation. It burns in the eyes and airways!)

    I have so many...

Freshly baked bread is high on this list!

    New circuitry

    D&G Light blue perfume

Gucci by Gucci pour homme EDT

    Castrol "R" racing oil

    Freshly ground coffee

Freshly cut grass (seems to be popular, think it reminds most people of summer!)

Speaking of summer, I like the smell of rain falling on hot ashphalt. Hard to describe, but you only get it in summer time over here

Most baking but in particular hazelnuts being baked in something

Mums sunday dinner/ Christmas dinner ;)
