I feel left out, having never had a good cheesecake...

I don't like regular cake much, either. Pie is the way to go.

Is this one not more awesomeness?

    This serves approximately 140 guests

Dreamy Chocolate Mudslide Wedding Cake - £525..... mmm

So that leaves you with a difficult question.

    Cheesecake or a Core i7 D0 920 + motherboard.

I wouldn't kill for a slice of cheesecake, but I would seriously hurt someone's feelings for one.

    That is simply unfair.

    Utterly unfair.

If I accidentally buy one, it's all your damned fault.

My brother and his wife had a traditional fruitcake at their wedding to satisfy the old folk, but alongside it were two home-made pistachio cheesecakes which were hands down the best I've ever ever tasted.

They had a secret third one that came out during the reception and my sister and I got in first and ate the whole thing. HAha. :D

    UPDATE

UPDATE - Wedding was awesome, thought I'd share a picture you lot would appreciate:

Our Home-Made Wedding Cheesecake, containing 4KG of cream cheese, a kilo of butter, and 4 pints of double cream.

    *********
    Mrs Badders additions:
Sorry all, was reviewing other half's descriptions of my cheesecake and felt he had done little to big-up my own awesomeness, so wanted to add it! Hope this is okay! (I am also a bit of a geek so should fit in okay!)
So - we had the English Cheesecake Company's cheesecakes, and I sat there and said "I could do this".. and so I did. I found the most awesome recipe, had a hour long discussion of the importance of the base-filling ratio and how to balance sweet filling with slightly salty base, and then I began my magic, which cost considerably less than the £325 that company wanted to charge us!

Result was in photo above. See.... I can do it too! (okay, strawberries on top and middle tier were a little on the low side, but Badders had control of that in the morning - i did the profiteroles!)

May I add..... it tasted AWESOME! May not have been in dry ice... but can be frozen afterwards for delayed gratification!

This is making me hungry, will you be taking orders? I'm sure you'd have plenty of business from this forum alone...

    Mail order cheesecake cheesecake!
