Lucasarts first batch of classic games have finally hit Steam, with the price bands broken up quite sensibly.

Loom: 3.99 euro
Armed and Dang: 8.99 euro

Fate of Atlantis is a great game.

I know we're talking low prices here, but that doesn't change the fact that apparently we have to pay the Euro markup tax again.

Prices in euros are on average %15+ higher than their British or US equivalent. Add to that the exchange rate, if you live in a European country, where the Euro isn't used as currency.

 

Hell yeah. I still remember the frustration when I had to cross the lava stream and couldnt figure out the right order to cross the plates.

How about x-wing or tiefighter being released on steam please?

Or even being remade!

 

Lol, yeah it was navigating the underground tunnels on the floating crab thing that gives me nightmares!!

 

I think the phrase 'watch this space' applies here!

 

That'll be 8 Euros now [both Indy titles] and another X on the 15th when they release Monkey Island's remake.
More than worth it, if you ask me!

The game was release in 1992, where you could get away with 286, 1MB of RAM and an 8bit Adlib, I seem to remember it only took about 11MB of space!

I appreciate it's probably the Steam Client's minimum specs but it did make me chuckle

 

That game... It's so old, that i have better graphics in my SonyEricsson I remember playing that game in a old pc with those big black giant disks Just look at how much the games evolved in 17 years... wow...

 

Why Lego Indy and not the older Indy Starwars?

 

It still is one of the best adventures ever.
Graphics isn't everything.
