hmm i think i would still have gone for something from Reign in Blood. A bit of Lamb of God would have been good or Opeth, glad to see Carcass make an appearance though

QFT with regard Boltthrower. They are the personification of this game. Also would've been nice to see some Napalm Death.

Add my name to the 'Glad there's no Iron Maiden or Metallica' list, though.

I noticed you didn't point out Hail of Bullets. They are nearly as perfect, as they are basically a combination of Pestilence and Bolt Thrower. Listen to "Ordered Eastward" and "Nachthexen".

Okay, maybe I should stop recommending music and stay on topic.

QFT, Thunderbolt would probably have fitted right in too. maybe we should keep this for the "what are you listening to" thread :s

i _will_ buy this game just because of the soundtrack.
It doesn't matter how rubbish it might (or, hopefully, might not) turn out to be... but they had me hooked at "Deadly sinners" ;)

There are a couple of people here I highly disagree with but that is not the topic, is it?

Great soundtrack for a [hopefully] great game.

    'nuff sed.

Hopefully a great game - I've even managed to get my girlfriend interested by describing it as 'Fable 2 meets Spinal Tap' :)

I'd really like to see a separate CD release of the soundtrack too, mainly because I can't be bothered to compile one myself :) Personally, I don't give a **** whether or not $BAND are metal or not - if it turns more people on to the music then that's a good thing.

That's what I thought in the mid to end nineties with rap. But see what we got now... Lil' Wayne or whatever his name is...

IMO, Farcry (original) has the best music ever. Not in game though, it's an opening soundtrack. With it, player always be turned on totally.

Budgie... wow I can't believe this band is finally being noticed, they're one of the forerunners of metal, awesome band!

If the game is as good as the soundtrack the universe will implode in a shower of stars, spiked bracelets and power chords.

Kind of disappointed if I am honest. No doubt they have picked some wicked songs, but there are some clearly retarded omissions, as demonstrated by some of the comments here.

I wouldn't say retarded as it's just a matter of taste. I would've loved to see some old school Metallica speed metal or some System Of A Down but they picked different tracks. And after all, it's their game.

Some real gems in this one, but also some glaring omissions as mentioned above. Still more interested in this than the majority of other games on their way. Also echoing the need for a PC release.
