The GAY one isn't funny at all. It's just a bit offensive.

Lighten up, he's very hetro and comfortable enough in his own sexuality not to take offence. He's probably my best mate here in the office and I know him well enough to know how these shenanigans will play out... (same goes for the rest of the team here, we have fun and rip on each other).

As a side not there is still a "Gay" post-it stuck to his drive tray inside his computer that he hasn't found yet (about 4 months now), I might have to leave a CD on his desk...

I like to be a little more devious with the key swapping, just swap the <M> and <N> keys. It's probably the most common mis-key to make and I don't know anyone who would spot it with a quick look at the keyboard...

*Oops I double posted, on my own thread too*

Haha they're both ace. Hats off for perseverance on the post-it note one!!

Cress seeds sprinkled into the keyboard at the start of a colleague's week+ holiday. Just bring back an extra cup of water from the fountain every time you go to feed their keyboard :)

Don't have a pic but it was like a pretty aggressive jungle coming out the keyboard.

    I agree.
It implies that that it's a bad thing to be gay, i.e. that it's an insult (or 'funny') to call someone gay.

me and my old boss used to prank each other on a regular basis, I remember once he txt'd me mid driving exam with "look at the road, not at this" i managed to break into his office whilst he was out for hte day and turned every piece of paper on his walls upside down, he returned by putting everything on my desk under my desk and everything under it on it, then I followed by sticking a photo of his as a wee lad on the work bullitin board.

    ahh those were the days.

Last April 1st, I double-stick taped everything to our receptionist's desk. I mean everything. She has a granite desktop, so we didn't have to worry about the finish getting ruined, and the taping was done the night before, so it was _really_ stuck. Mouse to mousepad, mousepad to desk, any pens that were laying around, handset to phone cradle, phone base to desk, and the best part was that we'd cut the tape so that you couldn't see any of it.

She was still finding things the next day or two

I recall here in the office where we tin foiled every object at a desk, including individual pens and pencils.

Another fav was to take the egnineers tool bag filled with tools, remove them, drill a whole though it and put a botl and washer though the bag and a table, so when he went to walk away with his tool kit, he took the table with it :D

:dremel:Remembered another one my friend told me about. He worked at a fairly large machine tool company, where most of the union workers had (1) a couple thousand dollars worth of tools kept in a tool chest, also worth a couple thousand dollars and (2) access to and knowledge of welding equipment.

Doesn't take more than a few seconds to weld all the drawers shut on a tool chest :hehe:

Just about every single tool chest in that place had grinder marks of some sort on it :dremel:
