is this the final season? i am looking forward to seeing the writers attempt to tie up even a fraction of all the loose ends they've left scattered all over the shop.
It is the final ... at last! I think this could go one of two ways, either this season will answer everything and be great, or they may just balls-it-up and make us all wonder why we bothered! Obviously I'm hoping the former. I've picked up episodes 16 & 17 from last season, The recap and then soon it'll be Season 6 Episodes 01 and 02, I'm banking on a LOST morning session!
Bindi - you need to add a third option - Yes it'll be great, but no, the ending will suck / be brilliant in equal measures as it won't answer anything.
Poll edited. I reckon it could be like GOO says - reasonable ending, but a massive pile of loose ends that leaves the speculation freaks happy for years.
They have been writing this season for well over 3 years now, if they haven't knocked it out of the park they should never be allowed to write anything again. Last season was superb and cemented the transformation from hulking direction-less beast of a show to this massive convoluted plot that has direction and purpose, lets just hope they finish well.
I don't think the Qs will be answered (because I don't think even the writers knew wtf was going on), but I think it'll be enjoyable regardless
It'll definitely be enjoyable, if only because it's one of those totally barmy programs where you can't predict what'll happen.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up as I know they will be dashed, just like that terrible, terrible ending to BSG.
So bloody weird that double bill. Spoiler so we now have two independent time-lines to try and follow and in one of them the Island is under water? Loved it though.
I don't really hold up much hope for them wrapping up all the "mysteries" they have created, it would be like mopping up a hurricane of piss. Still gonna watch it though, I want to see what the dealio is with Spoiler Jacob and the weird Spoiler arctic time wheel .
Well I have my Sky box set to record it but I just couldn't wait ... Sweaty palms, nervous twitches ... Is it still J J Abrams? I wonder if he would dare let the production staff kill Lost with anything bad?
