Other What's ruining your life right now?

Sigh. Want something really depressing? How about just learning that a good friend of yours may well have had his liver fail.

Life no longer awesome.

 

Not having enough money to buy a computer (writing this on laptop)

Maybe not as depressing as some of the other ones on this thread...but still...

 

I spoke to a terminal cancer patient yesterday whose child has just died.

I am 18 today.

 

Wow.... that is really depressing. I feel sorry for their family.

 

**** that ****. How about realising you#re probably an alcoholic? Or not? Or who knows? All I know is I've had a **** day at work (which I hate) and if I'm gonna get called an arsehole just for following the rules set out in a memo from senior management then **** them. **** them all. I'm drunk half a bottle of Jack tonight, with no intention of going in to work tomorrow. Or Monday. I'm going to keep on drinking, because feeling numb feels a hell of a lot better thann feeling anything else. How about realising you're going tio get in a lot of trouble, but you're sick of putting up with everyone else's **** when you've got your own problems to worry about?

 

Just stayed up for 24hrs and drove 6hrs to attempt to watch the shuttle launch from the space center. However, all I got to watch was it being canceled after being out in the cold for 4hrs waiting.

 

Looking up my old pre-recession pay slips from when I was earning £500-650 a week.... Not really ruining my life, i'm grateful I am in employment, but it puts things into perspective now i'm lucky if I get over £250 a week. :/

 

My job. Basically it is sucking the life out of me.
On the brighter side, it does bring me closer to that person I mentioned.

 

So not only am I getting a divorce, it turned nasty last night. We go from completely amicable to "well, since I know nobody else will have your handicapped ass, I can still let you have sex with me." My personal self-loathing has reached a new all-time low.

Drinking won't do anything, I can drink all I want and the only thing I feel is alcohol poisoning. The only thing that I have left to me is my computers, and my work. My health is continuing to freefall (they tell me it's because I'm so stressed) and I now have to walk with a cane.

Therapy isn't too effective in dealing with my hand either (I still drop 50% of items placed in the hand, and can only flip a bird three out of four) so I'm clumsy now, which I never was.

Sure, others have it worse (I still have a few years before my impending demise) but there's no reason to denigrate another's suffering-each person experiences what they experience, and I believe it's bad form to question the validity of some experiences. If you post in here you have a hangnail, though, you're fair game.

I had a few days ago. Every time i get them i just tear them of and continue to pull of bits of skin. My thumbs looks like they have been trough a meat grinder at times.

We all need somewhere to vent now and then.

I dunno about some of the people round here, but I don't have a lot of good friends at all - the one really good friend I have lives 3+ hours drive from me now.

It helps to just randomly and mostly anonymously spew out the bad thoughts now and then.

 

if you guys feel that bad then read The Strangers. I guarantee that person (the main character) has alot to say about what's ruining his life
