nice M/B but shame that theres only one PCI slot. like the fact that it integrates SATA 6GBs and USB 3.....

When it comes to AMD boards these days, unless there is on option for Core Unlocking, its not a contender in my book....

That's exactly our opinion as well. Why lose a feature from the previous generation when the best CPUs are ones that can have cores unlocked?

I'm very pleased to see (finally) a 890FX based motherboard but I'll wait to see it's a contender for my next upgrade. Tired of simple tweaked upgrades of 880 and 890GX. Fingers crossed for a great performance otherwise my next upgrade will have to be Intel =X (when needed of course)

Very nice looking board indeed. Although I still use a PCI slot for my sound card, I would very much like to see PCI gone completely. This board reminds me of the now very old boards that had a bunch of PCI slots and 1 ISA slot. As prices drop on AMD quads the core unlocking features will become a non issue IMO.

How about a breakdown on the pricing of the motherboards: asus, msi, xfx + the rest. Intel chipsets v amd chips and labour costs.

Are we all being ripped off, is intel a bigger money grabber than amd, msi more than asrock. jj7
