    Isopropyl alcohol is what I used


    Move the pan away for simmering, it's aluminum so the heat dissipates fast after a burn and adding fuel isn't too hard even while the stove is "on", + bigger stoves hold a lot of fuel so it makes for a long burn time.


    Efficiency would be a concern, propane has a pretty high energy density while isopropyl alcohol isn't the greatest but it is cheaper. If you were going for the most efficiency energy to weight ratio hydrogen wins hands down, bar none.


    But they are light, the ones I've made have come out to around 15 grams

    Have a look on the Zen Stoves Site its the bible for these type of meths burners. Building them is actually good fun, parts are cheap and complete failure is rare.

    The Sanwa Buttons for the fightstick came today from Hong Kong...!
    ..and Red Dead Redemption came from Game...!

    Now, do I sort the buttons and play SSFIV or do I play RDR??

    How is the mouse? I saw that and it looked pretty good. Was thinking about replacing my G9 with it. I like more buttons on the mouse.

    For some freaky and/or insane reason, when the mouse was first announced, both me and two of my friends read the name as "Razer Impregnator"...

    Just a 10.1mp Samsung handheld. Easier to carry when I head to Romania again in the summer. Only cost £50 plus a 2mp SD card and case =D

    Also bought some Guinness Larger to see what it was like. Advertising got the better of me >.>
