Cases People think the HAF is ugly?

Good Lord ! And I was thinking about dreaming tonight...well. Anyone remember the X-Blade, (Brands: Imicro, Logysis, Super Talent, A-Top) we talk around 2005 here. That was a pure crap and when I say pure crap Im far of the truth.

 

They are ugly as sin itself

 

One of my mates still uses a X-Blade case, it sickens me utterly...

 

That is an NZXT Tempest or Tempest EVO, methinks. With an unusual paintjob. I actually like it in its stock black.

However, this is my case.

Now, that last one is a Soldam Windy. And with the door closed, it has a certain bland charm. BUT WHAT THE &$(* DID THEY DO TO THE INTERIOR?!

It's a pimp case.

Oh boy do I hate these cases - not only do they look absolute sh1te, they cost an arm and a leg! I know that everyone's entitled to their own taste but I think just for this one instance that anyone who has actually bought one should be beaten with a rake.

 

Well beat me with a rake and call me leafy. I'd take one of these over a HAF any day (on looks anyway).

It's all the fakely macho cases that annoy me, one's like the Darkfleet or LanBoy, that scream "look at me, I'm rugged and untamed, not geeky in anyway at all"

At least companies like NZXT embrace their inner geek and make all their cases look like star wars characters *wishes for case modelled on chewy*.

Chewy never got dusty.

In my head the fur would be made of a special soft, dust-proof copper, thus making the case a giant heatsink, with a massive surface area.

I just think that they are a wee bitty overrated looks-wise.
