These companies always get teething troubles. Fire off an email and explain. Have you checked a traceroute to see if you are bounced outside UK? Stranger things have happened ...

Ah, that would explain it. I'll have another try later. Thanks.

Bah. Tried to register an account at Dixon's online shop. Even though they explicitly list Denmark in the country dropdown box and don't state any UK exclusivity (at least I couldn't see it) I get a message box about "my IP being in the wrong region". Of course, only *after* I've filled out all the details...

So, no Condemned or The Club for me. Perhaps it's for the better.

Still, a nice find, Throbbi! :)

Just to repeat the heads-up on that one. It's a nice find, but beware that if you're not in the UK it may not be worth the hassle; and they seem to be checking your personal details against the database at 192.com.

Well, didn't check their terms and conditions. But it's odd (dare I say moronic) they let you choose a country other than the UK at all. Anyway, no great loss.

Am I too late to get anything for free? I signed up to Dixons and clicked My Products and there's nothing, and it lists Alpha Protocol as £26.79 :(

    I'm in the UK..

Edit: never mind! You have to sign up and then go to Throbbi's link, but it says it can't verify my age.. despite putting my real DOB in (I'm 19!).

Super double edit: I had to use my parent's address, then they 'checked' my age against the electoral roll. WTF Dixons? Never mind, hooray for free games!

Go to 192.com and search for yourself. Then try and input your details as they appear there. If your details don't come up try searching for your parents or anyone else and just use their name instead, you can switch it straight back to yours in your account afterwards.
