just write "bit-gamer" to the search at the bottom left corner of the main screen, then choose the bit-gamer, join and enter password? Worked OK for me.

The password is the same as the channel name, i.e. 'bit-gamer'

I'll add it into my sig as people keep missing the post where I announced it's details.

I quite like this game but think the game is at odds with itself.

The way the game should be played is at odds with the farming nature of the game.

Lastly, what do radios do? Even the manuals description sucks :(

Radios increase the range at which you can tell other tanks where the Enemy are. So a radio with a range of 500M, lets everyone within a 500M radius know about any enemies you spot. This is, obviously ,essential for scout-tanks, because they're often a distance away, so a long-ranged radio is essential.

But how does the range work - say I've got a 850m range and you've got a 350m range, does that mean we can communicate over 350m (your range), 850m (my range), or 1200m (combined range)?

It's the combination of the two ranges.

damnit... game keeps locking up/crashing on my when i use the 'sniper' view [shift]... which is problematic when your main tank is a Tank Destroyer

Hetzer is a fun tank, I had a lot of fun ambushing unsuspecting players in mine.

I'm currently playing in a KV and am about to get into a KV-3 or the KV-1s.
Not sure which way to go, 1s is faster but the 3 has better armour and a bigger gun...

    decisions decisions...

The way I looked at it was that the KV-1S is the light version of a heavy tank - the KV-sport, if you like, whereas the KV-3 is a proper heavy tank.

The KV-1S is even worse armoured than the KV and still not as fast as a medium, so is pretty rubbish all round really.

On the other hand, the KV-3 has superior armour, weapons and mobility to the KV so is definitely the one to choose.

Facing t-7 and up the armour on both t6 KVs is pretty negligable.

KV-1S can mount the 122 as well as the KV-3 and is much faster making peekaboo a viable option. You should also be in a postion to move into "medium's" territory and then blow them up. It also costs half the price and leads to the KV-13 and onto the medium line as well as back onto the medium line.

KV-3 is only really better against low tiers; and of course the free garage slot in the coming update is probably the deciding factor. You also lose the 107.

I've never owned the KV-1S and up to the IS-7 but I am very tempted to go back and get one. The KV-3 handles like a pig.
