    Theoretically they could implement inductive charging, a battery and a force feedback chip in the floating thingy but I like your design more. Makes more sense to be honest.

    I cast my vote in your favor as well. I like your design much more than the others. I haven't particularly been a fan of their 3D mice, but I would drop a considerable chunk of change for one like your mock up (provided it included an active digitizer), kudos for the awesome design.

    Thanks guys. I really wanted to come up with a concept that was practical. I have limited desk space and having a mouse, keyboard, 3D mouse and tablet would take up a lot of room, so I wanted a design that would minimize the space needed.

    If it is wireless I buy it right now .... I can see myself sitting in a confortable sofa with this beauty on my knees (the 3D tablet, right .... you perverts !!)

    Agreed - if it is wireless I'd be all over it. Well, after it's been out a couple of years and come down in price dramatically. And started appearing in the second hand market ;)
