I am participating in the 3Dconnexion 3D Design Challenge and have made it to the final round. The Grand Prize is a $5000 CAD workstation from BOXX. Help out a fellow bit-tech member. Every vote is greatly appreciated! http://www.3dconnexion.com/challenge/voting.html Thank you, -Scott
Saw you mention this in the 3D Render topic. Voted, best of luck. Fantastic design by the way, far more imaginative than the other entries. I'd love to use a device that looked like that.
Thanks everyone! I have yet to win a design contest (Ive always come in 2nd or 3rd) and I really want to win this one! I appreciate all your support! You guys rock!
I have the 3Dconnexion Space Navigator, they really make nice stuff Hope you win (The "Space Touch" is really cool too, but since your from Bit)
Voted. Not because you plugged yours, but because all the other options were stupid and yours wasn't!
GAH!!! That is so nearly perfect, all it needs is a trackball and you'll be there (and my desk will be so much neater) - absolutely gorgeous design, gets my vote!
One thing. Make the side plate thingy modular so you can plug it in at either the left or the right side. That way you can cater to both right- and left-handed people.
Thanks! I really like my SpacePilot PRO for SolidWorks work and its fun to fly around Google earth Thank you! haha, Thanks! I can't believe I missed the trackball! Thanks for the vote! Good idea. This was only a rough concept, I'll have to do a revised version. Thanks!
Nice The only other one i thought was interesting was the electromagnetic suspension one but how on earth do they propose to give it force feedback? Voted and confirmed. Stands at 146 to 130 for the nearest rival at the time of my vote.
Must admit... that space touch looks very cool, but I'm not sure how practical it would be... How long until the middle bit gets lost? Your concept would be amazing to use though. Voted
