I didnt get any problems with connecting, only servers being full quite a lot. Caspian Border today was a lagfest though, really unplayable

 

yeah, just got disconnected before a round is ending. but during the times i did manage games, it was great, EXCEPT:


the major problem i have with BF3 is it's way too hard to see people. almost all of my death are from people hiding in a bush.

this game seems to punish those who dare to go for the objective. rewards those who camp in a bush.

Cerb, i guess at some point i was playing with or against you, i was really enjoying the game, but this disconnect is far from new to me, i guess i only notice when im going good, i mean if im doing bad its a god send lol.

It is not the map, im hoping it is a server thing, i suffered from day 1 with BFBC2

Im not great by far but i at least like to see who is shooting at me before i finish my will and die.
Im sure this will be a great game in the long run

 

So did me, wxy and Mr happy all just get disconnected at the same time?

Maybe its something designed for the beta so others can be allowed to join the sever?

Its nice that there is lots of foliage to hide in and make it look nice, but I hate it that it gives the enemy a place to shoot me from also. Its a catch 22,


Also, I hate snipers, and I can't bloody do it. No matter how hard I try, I just can't hit anyone, or they get killed before I can aim up and fire.

Cerb Wyx and Happy all go at once, well it mast be a fluke, because they would not kick me for being good lol.

On a good note, i love the game, but it lacks a commo rose (dont tell me there is one because mine dont work) And also lacks me having a decent Mic.

Did someone say there will be a CPC server

 

It's something that will be in the full game, but it's not in the beta.

not only that, a lot of guys from Aria were on, along with Murray, Deadbolt and Rottie from bit-tech.

Rogan will be sorting us out with a 64 player server I think.

After spending some more time with jets today in a quiet server, I'm sure it's been mentioned before but the lack of countermeasures really takes the piss when you go up against another pilot with heat seekers

That aside, Caspian is a lot of fun

 

I'm still finding it very difficult to see people :/

I've gotten the same issue with the disconnect at the end of the round as well... damn exp didn't even log either >.< Ah well at least these stats don't carry over to retail

 

We need a flamethrower. I just want to BURN DOWN EVERY BUSH IN EXISTENCE.

Outside of that, it's honestly a fantastic game and the suppressed pistols are absolutely fantastic.

Oh god yes. Or at least a way to obliterate foliage. Although that'd make it hard as the game progresses, it forces people to actually move.

 

Anyone else think that the basic functionality unlocks for the jets is a really stupid idea? It's absolutely impossible to get lots of points in jets when all you have are guns... and until you unlock flares you are a sitting duck for jets with A2A missiles...
