Cheers everyone :thumb:, has anyone else used ChilledPC's anodising service?? Its been 2 weeks and their not answering my emails to tell me what the status on my anodising order, and I haven't even been asked to pay yet either, despite the fact they said two weeks ago the parts were at the anodisers.

Hi everyone I'm finally back with an update, and the anodised parts have arrived. While I was waiting for the parts I decided to make the rad cover panel.

I started by milling out the correct shape into some Lexan polycarbonate, then I trimmed 0.5mm off the top surface excluding two bits at the top and bottom:

I then used some scissors to cut out the shape to fit into the Lexan out of 0.5mm aluminium, and then filed the edges:

Heres the alu fitted onto the Lexan:

I then screwed the rad onto the side panel (sorry about bad quality I had to turn the brightness right up):

I then assembled the pump, so its ready to screw in the motor:

Nice to hear you got your parts back from the anodizer, I was actually starting to get worried since you said you didn't get any reply from them.

Looking awsome so far, but we want to see MOOOOREE.

Woo hoo, finally got the parts back I was also worried about that especially after you saying they have no phone number, I even went looking to try find it but couldn't :worried:.

That is one special gorgeous res pump mate like so many parts in this project :).

Will the delay keep this from moty this time though :( just wouldn't quite be complete without it.

    Cheers everyone :thumb:

So was I lol, I eventually found that for reason they weren't getting my hotmail emails as I sent one from Gmail and the replied straight away :), I'm not sure does anyone know when the MOTY cut off is, if its the 31st then I might just be able to finish in time.

I can't wait nether :), I've gotta get it finished soon for MOTY.

:hehe: Even I ignore hotmail emails :duh: not all the time but sometimes :D.

I just PM'd Combatus asking if there is or when the cutoff date is, I know he's busy busy busy so not sure if he'll get back to me on that but if he does I'll whip around the forum for projects on the fringe of completed to let them all know .

Hi chaps. Thanks for bringing this to my attention Waynio. I've been keeping tabs on the big projects in the run up to MOTY, speaking to the owners etc but had to call time last week unfortunately. This year's article already has 25 projects (the most ever I think) and we needed to confirm the list early to get lots of behind the scenes work sorted.

Adding anything at this stage would be difficult and I'm sure you'll agree, 25 projects is already huge number! The article goes live this Friday 23rd, however I'm sure we can look forward to bit-tech features of the likes of Blue Horizon and Attila's Cor Leonis in 2012, and MOTY 2012 will definitely include them. Needless to say, I strongly suggest you call in sick if you plan to work on Friday - MOTY 2011 is going to be EPIC
