That Warner Bros deal is pretty damn good. Shame they don't throw hard disks into the sale too as I might need a new one by January!

I got the First Templar as a gift, which by all accounts was awful - but free is free I guess!

I'm not sure which could be worse. I've already got most of the Valve games, and RPG/Strategy games like Gothic 4 don't really appeal to me.

Looks like I'll be buying another catalogue of games for under a tenner this Christmas Still not got round to last years lol Think I'll look for some adventure games this time round! Bar Metro ofc

 

Bought the Pendulo Adventure Pack.

Played Runaway: A Road Adventure a while ago and enjoyed it, so a tenner for the rest is a good deal for me.

Nothing else today though.

 

I was gifted a copy of Dungeon Defenders last night, after previously refusing to play anything other than BF3, Shogun 2 and Anno 2070 in the last few months. How additive DD is!!! I have enjoyed it so much in the brief time I played it; I just gifted a copy to another mate. Its half price in the steam sale at the moment, although I could not see it as “on offer” on the front page, I could see it when I looked at it through the search window. Cheaper than a lot of DLC and as a co-op tower defence type game that had added further variety to the collection.

 

I've got it - although im the only one of my friends to have it.
Up for some CO-OP soon?

As for the games on sale, I'm trying to be strict with myself and only buy stuff I *really* want this year.

 

33% off any Valve game (cheers I've already got them all) once the sale ends. did pick up Orcs must die and it's dlc though.

and I've just started playing Dungeon Defenders too.

 

I haven't been paid for December yet, Not for another 3 days, This means i can't buy anything, Whether that be a good thing or not...

I wonder what would you guys in other countries, when you get paid after you finished your job - it means you get the salary for December in January. And here i see you complaining that you didn't got the salary for December... in middle of December .

Anyway, i got a -25% for Valve games in January (thanks, i own all i do care about, and i won't buy the rest anyway) and Day Of Defeat Source (thanks, i have this too, even if i don't play it). Let's hope i will have more luck in next days...

Still contemplating Portal 2. I know it's quite cheap at 75% off (although unsurprisingly not as cheap in EUR as in GBP, or USD for that matter). I'm just not sure if I will be playing it before it inevitably goes on sale again and perhaps will be even cheaper. And, with the current economy, money is a bit tight around here...

Wait, What are you on about? Usual payday for me is 26th of Each Month, But because of Christmas it's usually a week earlier than usual, And it has been for the past 5 years, This year however it's a lot later, and will be the 23rd. A lot of companies in the UK will have paid staff earlier than usual, again to accommodate Christmas.

I was thinking exactly same thing, I decided not to buy it, as with skyrim, bf3, and other big names on horizon like diablo 3, i just didnt think i would be playing it for a long while. It will be on sale again a number of times next year im sure
