3DMark 11 990x vs 3960X 3960X @ 5Ghz http://3dmark.com/3dm11/2405971 990X @ 4Ghz It's not a fair comparison, but I would imagine about a 2.5k gap between the two @ 5Ghz.
Yes, with a game that utilises all cores. 3d rendering is also good of course. Shame I don't do any myself any more.
Isn't that what this is for? if i said something like that then longweight would say im trolling actually he and other guys say every post of mine is trolling, so accoring to there logic your trolling
only 60fps? i guess those 4.0Ghz C2D's have had there time up now then look heres cpu benchmark gta 4 http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,...ark-review-with-13-processors/Reviews/?page=2 read the first line of the summary "The PC version of GTA 4 has CPU power for breakfast"
I don't play games without vsync (Can't stand running 120FPS in some games with horizontal fresh lines. So vsync is a most), so 60FPS is the limit.
Vsync will only lock to the monitor refresh rate. So 15, 30, 60Fps. He isn't rolling 120hz IPS screens, so 120FPS isn't an option (Oh how I wish you could get those, though.)
