    Neat - very neat.

How does the Lexan look on that piece of 0.5 mm. alu? Would be nice with a picture as seen from the lexan side, too.

Ah dam just missed it, at least I've got the patients to wait till next december :)

Yeah me too, I did a test with water but can't wait to see how it looks with UV coolant with the UV LED's on.

Cheers :thumb:, I'll upload a pic next time I'm down at the workshop, the panel will only be visible from the alu side by the way, the only reason I made the whole panel with lexan is to make it stronger, or do you want to see it for a different reason?

Nope. Only curious as to why you had to mill off half a millimeter off of that Lexan, so I wanted to see at least what it looks like when attached to the alu, that's all. ;)

@Combatus - I wish you hadn't done that. I can hear a lot of modders who were planning to finish before Christmas taking off their goggles.

I really enjoy end of the year rapid-fire updates.

I just wish I PM'd him 2 weeks ago or even a month ago about the cutoff date :duh: Acronym & Get a Life was 1 or 2 tiny steps away from complete & this looks close to complete.

Moty will still rock though & I know I'll still struggle picking votes & wow that's like at least 10 strong contenders already I've been enjoying following & been incredibly good projects up for next time, the quality is always outstanding in moty & it is clearly getting better & more difficult to keep up with each year but if it weren't we all probably wouldn't try as hard so it's awesome :D.

There is already a picture of that on the previous page :), its not a very close up one though I'll take a close up when its finished, and I've polished the lexan.

That would have been me :)

Yeah me too I could have finished this mod before Christmas but oh well

Cheers ReDoZz :thumb: Next update will be later on today :)

Finally got an update for you all :)

I started off by milling a block of alu down the right size:

I then drilled and tapped some holes into the block to make a double angle barb:

I then moved onto the rad barbs. I first put a thread onto the outside of an aluminium tube:

I then chopped off 2 pieces using a parting off tool:

I then screwed the thread into the angle barb blocks I made a long time ago:

I then screwed the barbs into the acrylic piece which fits onto the rad, I also milled out a hole in the side panel for the fan to fit into:

I then poured polyurethane rubber through the barbs to make sure no aluminium is able to make contact with the coolant:

I then moved onto completing the fan. I first used an angle grinder to remove the sides of the housing which came with the blower fan:

So I can have access to just the curve:

I will use this to make a clear curved cover so I can see the fan spinning :)
