Yeah, we missed of manual entry and RSS feeds. This was partly because we forgot about them, but also because that first question was more to classify your involvement in the site rather than to see how you accessed it.

Surprised so many IT professionals on here - you can tell from the comments sections & forums there are a fair few about, but one in three? Crikey!

As for Kirk vs Picard, no contest! And I remember watching (re-runs) of TOS on the 10" black & white TV in my parents kitchen before Next Generation came out, so no bias there.

They may have both got stuff done, but it was the manner in which they did it. Picard was the 24th century Sherlock Holmes, the intellectual epitome of cool - whereas Kirk was just Rambo in Space.

Will Riker vs Spock? Now that's a different story altogether...
