    I have concluded (and so has some guys the helifreak forums) that one of the ESCs cut, maybe due to a motor problem or something, will order new ESCs and motors before I go flying again.. falling from 40+ meters, into seawater is not something I want..

    Do note that the standard MIDI protocol only supports 16 channels. If you can tie two computers together, and sync playback, that's excellent news.


    Although, the moppy-advanced does support multiple Arduinos, if you go the dual-duino route.

    First of all, there is next to no chance of me being able to do this at all - I lack the required advanced skills to do such electronic and sequencing work (not just connecting the floppies up, but also understanding their protocols and writing the software). Still, I think the easiest way to get around the 16 channel MIDI limitation is to simply use multiple MIDI ports (where ports in this context means the output of a MIDI program, not physical ports). This could easily be accomplished with software the likes of JACK and its patchboard, or pure ALSA.
