I've had to strap myself to the toilet seat as my backside is creating it's own fireworks show. Bugger.

I went to bed early to catch up with sleep, only to wake up now to my heart racing. It's showing signs that it might want to settle, but now I'm wide awake.

That's what you get for arguing with ShinyAli :p

You have my sympathies. If it's the norovirus then keep your mind fixed upon 72 hours from now when you will start feeling normal again.

90% sure it's Norovirus. Haven't had to strap myself to the toilet since about 6am now, so fingers crossed I'm past the worst. Never felt pain like it though..

There's a figure I really want and it's going for a reasonable price considering how rare it is. But I can't justify spending £200 on a figure. :waah:

Indeed, there's a sword ( best not to ask.. :worried: ) I really want and a fairly decent retailer has it for £175 which is a bargain, but £175... for a display item... just can't do it... :sigh:

Ruining my life right now: my fecking hair clippers decided to break 1/3 way into shaving my head ( grade 2 ), so after fighting with & smashing them up ( they've never cut properly without needing adjustment every time, despite being Wahl branded items ) in a rage I had to cut my hair with kitchen scissors. Thankfully it looks not too bad, not patchy, just a little uneven- just a shame it's the wrong time of year for a grade ~1 all over.

I'm buying some cordless Babyliss clippers next time- I had the same set of those for 8 years before they conked out...

Hah, yeah I get that. I feel the same about every high end car model I want to add to my collection, but there are so many more important things to spend money on at the moment :sigh:

To the ongoing saga that is my workplace: got my first full month's pay-cheque in, and it turns out that I am making just slightly over half what I was previously.

I now have to consider which possessions I want to sell should I want to continue eating through the next month.

My cluster attacks dropped from monthly 4-6 to 1-2 per year after changing to diet excluding monosodioum glutamate. Good right? I noticed that finding, say chicken filets, without that junk has become more difficult. It goes with names such as "flavor enhancer", "taste additive" and so on. Best one was "quality improver".

So instead of coughing up four euros for 400 grams of chicken filets, I pay 1,5-2x as much just to steer clear of that junk.

I have just managed to burn my hand while sterilising a bottle, luckily it is just my left ring finger and a bit on my left wrist. The main annoyance is just not being able to do things, typing this and a PM has taken way too long, it is easily less than half as fast.

You never had insurance? Glad it's scrapped then.

I would never, ever buy a modified car unless of a dealer. And even then I'd be cautious. Why would you want a 200hp diesel 306 anyway?
