Doesn't happen to me - I've had one for a few months.

The box tells you you it's Windows 8 compatible, which is nice - my previous Sidewinder X4 isn't.

How on earth can a keyboard NOT be Win 8 compatible?

looks like a shaved down version of the corsair k90, even in use positioning of usb passthrough, and the volume roller.. even the banks of available macros

wonder if both are just the same tech haha !

Decent buckling spring boards go for way more than that. M13's, Model F AT's and M15's (Think £500+ for the latter). Capacitative boards like Topre are expensive too. Quality is not, and never will be, cheap. Having used a Model M for 15+ years, I -can't- use a cheap keyboard now... my fingers hurt afterwards.

    Tell me about it. :D

Still rockin an Original Model M. They're cheaper than MX boards if you can find one on a lucky sale and they're usually fantastic.

    Just clean it.

Yeah, I now have 2 model M's, an M13, Model F AT, and a number of cherry switched boards and a few other weird ones.
