    What do you collect?

I am a serial hoarder, I collect many things.

    My main collections:

    - 5950 baseball caps - I have at least 30 odd in varying conditions, some dare I say it, I don't think I've ever worn, and I wear hats a lot

    - Zippos - this was mainly an inherited collection, I think I have more than 10 but less than 20, I can't remember the exact number, I know some are cursed though (one was a gift from my ex-girlfriend, It's probably the fanciest one I have given it's solid silver, but it also has her name engraved on it.......not bitter)

    - Mechanical keyboards - this fluctuates often, I normally own between 5 and 10 at any one time and as many keysets to go with them (infact, probably way more keysets than I have keyboards)

    - Tools - I consider this a collection as I have many tools I have never used which I buy on the off chance I will use them one day, and it's better to have and not need than to need and not have.

So Bit-tech - name your collections and show me pictures, I will get some pictures up at some point.

Sunglasses. 2 Raybans (I lost the third), 3x Oakley, and a few more pairs of other stuff keep wanting more.

Shoes. Even after throwing loads out I still have around 20 pairs.

I tend to float from one collection to the next (mostly due to boredom). In the past I have collected:

5950 caps - sold most of my collection now though only have 3-4 left
Sneakers / trainers - I still have around 20 pairs. Although my new rule is to only buy below retail price / when on offer.
Pens - just started and I can foresee it getting expensive quick!

KidRobot figures. Although I've sort of kicked that habit (for a while).

Also: wires, bits of computers, the boxes that everything comes in

I've never really been interested in collecting, seems to me that spending a lot of money on something that is rarely used as you have many others is a bit silly. Saying that if I had the money I would have a car for every occasion. And probably a fleet of bikes too.

Books, I like to read a lot. Other than that not really much as I'm a practical person and like to use the things I buy.

EDIT: Actually if we're talking digital my Steam library, film collection and tv collection are redonk huge... So there is that.

Want? Yes. Should have? <looks around room, attempts to remember what colour the floor is and fails> No, almost certainly not.

Well I have four. If you genuinely want one i'll pull them out make sure one's running and send it to you for postage ;)

i collect vinyl, and keybaords/keycaps to an extent, but i stopped collecting things in my teens when i came to the conclusion it resulted in me hoarding.

Ah - vinyl. Forgot about that. That's the worst one. I've stopped buying recently actually. This is a good thing.
