As Brian Cox, actor and 'yes' supporter said, this was a gift given by Scotland to England and the rest of the UK. It's how I see it too TBH.

I hope it pans out like that, it sounds like things will change throughout the UK but then we've heard stuff like that before. However, unlike before this was a close enough result for Westminster to take note.

You might think the SNP are a bit fishy, but at least they're not as bad as those uKIPPERs :)

My guess is if there isn't real change in the way the UK is governed we will see a rise in support for those uKIPPERs.

Personally i would like to see Westminster only have governance over international affairs with input from each region, a federal government of sorts.

If you heard Cameron's speach this morning it's pretty clear that there will be a lot of change for all of us. You can't get away from a declaration that clear. The question is whether getting draft legislation trhough by January is too fast for such a major constitutional reform.

I think my family will be relieved, although I did like the idea of an independent Scotland (if it worked out well).

Will be interesting to see what happens now regardless.

TBH I think he's stepping down so he can lead the attack on Westminster if they don't follow through - he can't really do that as FM or party leader.

He's going to carry on, may be a bit tricky when his own constituency of Aberdeenshire voted 60/40 in favour of no...

So that's why Scotland voted no...

    the real reason

We owe Scotland a great debt, one we may never be able to repay.
