It won't last a year if he keeps giving it to his sons to spend! It's great for them but quitting his job was a bit extreme. You appreciate nothing if you don't work for it yourself. If I won 2.7 million tomorrow I wouldn't quit either of my jobs. I can honestly say that I would want to keep working hard and earning my living the old fashioned way.

Sadly this doesn't surprise me. I'm disgusted at the stupidity of people who would fall for this, but not at all surprised by it. Are we any closer to colonizing another planet or the moon today? I don't want to live here any more -.-

Maybe he hated his job and is investing his money to complete his ambitions of starting his own company?

I suppose that's possible and I hope that's the case. In terms of 'rich people' these days, 2.7m isn't much, although it is enough for an average, sensible spending family to live on comfortably for their lifetime.

Invest the first 1,5m in fairly safe bonds or stock and you would be able to live off the interest on that for quite some time.

If I was a TV programmer maker like a producer or some thing, that right there is a chance for some one to make a show about how their story unfolds, so that video is a great lead in to a not day in the life, but one month later, 6 months later, 1 year later, that would be great original programming, I would like to see how that family gets on, actually hope that show gets made. BBC should step in and find him and ask if they can do a show about their lives and do it tastefully.

What is it about these Binky vids.

The comedy is obvious and a little cheesy but I'm so interested.

I almost jumped up and down when I saw episode 7 was available as I knew it should be due soon.

British humour + British engineering = cheesecake.

    This might actually be alright....

If they don't make this into a film I'm gonna start a riot; damn you Ridley Scott.

I just like the fact they're essentially shoving a square peg into a round hole for no other reason than they can [and possibly because someone told them it couldn't be done]...

Agreed, as cheesy as the humour might be, the scarcely believable engineering more than makes up for it! Did you notice the lighting credit at the end? Oz Ramme  :hehe: (Osram, Justin Casey you didn't get it ;))

Mila Kunis as the queen of Earth? Wouldn't that be the same as every other day then? Looks very interesting, I'll definitely give that one some attention when it's released.

Exactly this, someone at some point has possibly said it can't be done, and they're proving them more and more wrong with each and every weld. As much as it's in its infancy, I feel exactly the same about my own project. People have told me it can't be done and I intend on proving them wrong too.

    I'll watch it.

Spoiler alert, Sean Bean's character will die at some point.
