We've lost our email today, TalkTalk servers are busy and nothings coming through, wonder if it's all these black friday emails causing it, and all the order confirmation emails,
I missed out on the pebble and I was sad about that - my boss has had one since the first release and I think they're awesome.
Bought some wheels for the push bike, price the last few months has been 130 down in October to 100, code today for 25% off anything making it 75, thats not a bad deal id say. Also nabbed a biking jersey down from 40 (been that price for months) to 20. Just pays to know the prices of the items before you go oooooooh discount and punch the person next to you so they dont get it.
Accidentally bought myself a watch as well :S £72.99 down from £282.50 - sold out in 8 seconds or there abouts, I saw it was coming earlier though so made sure I had it on my screen so I managed to bag one!
Went out to grab a late lunch at work yesterday, wish i hadn't. My faith in humanity has taken a huge hit. Seeing people willing to hurt each-other over a £30 coffee maker...
January sales have been around for a long time without people resorting to hurt each-other over a £30 coffee maker, or some Lidl reject tv. I can't help put wonder if people are acting like that because they saw they yanks doing it on telly. This one's even better!
eBay? I picked up a well featured Sony for a lot less than even a heavily discounted Polaroid recently...
I don't doubt it Nick but with Ebay there maybe postage or major hassle if it goes wrong. So getting from a store is probably easier for most folks.
Friday I was in Newcastle City Centre for work and on my way in to work you could see the queues outside of some of the major stores. I came back out around 2pm for launch and Game Store queue was still huge in Eldon itself crazy stuff. All for a £50 discount id rather not bother myself.
fun chat at work - `black Friday` - the best way to clear all the non selling crap off the shelves before xmas so they can get better products in....
If I were the supermarkets id have made into a treasure hunt or like crystal maze that would make epic tele.
